Some links to get knowledge - BP v. Whiting, IN #9

Let's all get to the same page.

My series started on August 25, 2007.

"plastics" ?  The harm in the name of civilization.

In this B12 link there is a link you'll need, related to Archimedes's communicating vessels and water to earth osmosis.

How about that SAMOHI history class drawing, tina?

BP v. Whiting, IN - Inevitable harm to humankind?

    Police_state

Won't you take a look at this illustration, from SAMOHI, which was originally called "Comunism" -- Too much information, perhaps -- and tell me what strikes you as odd or familiar.

Unfortunately, it's too hot and I would like to go back to rest another few hours. Velvet Howler has a seductive proposal. Let's vote for Ron Paul. In poli sci this is called the deepening of contradictions. What can BP do more than keep flooding Google with its propaganda? It can and has kicked out lots of people from Whiting, IN. And polluted Lake Michigan.

Never heard of "This won't hurt?" or "I'll stop if it does?" That's BP.

There. I'll be back for a third installment. This bloggin' is gettin' deep and in this sweltering summer of oppression(MLK) I know nobody is wearing boots.

Maybe Archimedes was ug-lee. How does his theory of communicating vessels work?

BP vs. Whiting, IN - Some amonia in that coffee?

By now everyone has had a chance to read the post by B 12 Solipsism on this tragic situation.  A young couple, who'd met here, go back to Whiting, buy a house.  Sometime in 2003, perhaps, BP starts buying land for its plant.  BP forces the hand of our people with nice "I'm green" propaganda.
Dado's house is reassessed and her taxes become more expensive than my Santa Monica ones.  From then on she fights.  Check the link out, please.

Is it Thursday? It's my Thursday coffee!  Gotta go.  Next, let's talk about our  findings on land and water pollution in the name of Greed.Calif

    When Inevitable, Relax!

What a day. Oppositional behavior fits me in "Hello, Google by" and that's about it. Imagine havig to sit with a sweet nearly sixteen within breathing distance?

Wasn't Seth's post awesome, like, totally... I am a n00bie. Good ideas but a darn noob. Sad. My computer crashed. It's FF. To plan space in Apple's SaFARSi is a biatch. It's a WYSIWYG only. Oh, well, gotta get used to it.

I had to sleep; that's how strung-out I get when I am noyvous, in my best NYC mood. Now, I leave you here with two great videos. Music and Futebol. Botafogo was the best, Garrincha drove all other players insane, our Angel with Twisted Legs.

Some futebol played by my beloved Botafogo champion since 1910, and Flamengo, the equivalent, roughly speaking, of Man U. Come watch these moments with me? Music is awesome: now I have mellowed out :P

Whiting v. BP: Dado to B12 Partners, Back Here

Seth A. published a concise yet detailed sum-up of what I have been trying to express.
In B12 Solipsism you'll find several links filling you in with the BP v. Whiting story, rather, the history of BP and Whiting, IN.  Anarchic_Universe shall continue this story of human interest and greed.

Two Friends, in the Wee Hours: Whiting, IN v. BP #6

Two Peas in a Yeah, yeah , yeah...

    >Let's resume our physics on connecting bodies of water tomorrow, shall we?  Geesh, we look spent after hours of blabbing our hearts away, yaketty, yaketty about old times and now; that is, four years ago. Have you ever seen thin bourgeoisie?  Nahh, except for the ana-mia crowd who become invisible when turning their profile to you.  At USC, DADO had arrived on a combination of scholarships, loans and grants. I had an Assistant Lecturer position. I wanted to be alone. We were roommates. She taught me the ins & outs of American rock. I was into UK 80s.

We were roommates by a gross error of 'SC's. The tower was for undergrads only. I never saw so much filth as in the corridors or elevators during the weekend. Alcohol, pizza boxes, University of Spoiled Children.  We worked , she'd correct my slight accent from abroad, I worried sick. It's a big world out there.

DADO gave me a Mr. Peanut doll. I have it still. "Ta make you company," said she.

    Warm-up: BP v. Whiting,IN - Let's Study a Bit

While I wake-up for real, let's mosh figuratively to Eminem's  "Mosh" and to his Academy Award Winner, "Lose It."  BP is flooding Google with propaganda. Let's start telling this story from the beginning, okay?

Not enough?  Wikipædia's Great Lakes entry.  And another, should you be bored. I'm sooo tired I overslept. I'm sorry.

BP v. Whiting, IN part 5 of a series

Download bp.tiff Please be patient with this download.  I found it as I reloaded  the Washington Post's Alert  on "Good Riddance, Gonzales!"  I wonder if we should listen to Green Day. "Awh,stahp it," as they say in the Midwest. So now BP backed off.  I want to address the stuff about property value, exodus, all that people appeal Today Show stuff.

If you think Dado is a loafer, another hippie like me, check out her site in the blogroll.  Or Google her, DADO Theater.

Tomorrow I will continue my campaigning.  When we do get involved,  Americans can show  the world something.

Tonight  I'm closig with  a  self-indulgence.  The  good news is you can ask  Paulo Henriques Britto questions through  this blog.

The bad news is Toppers, on Second Street, is gone.  The new place has expensivo prices, horribly slow service, and reservations.  (cont. please)

    BP v. Whiting, IN

    Tuesday, 08,27.2007

I collapsed and slept. It seems BP has given up on its expansion.  The Washington Post reports Gonzales resigned.

    08/26

I am not feeling well. It seems www.technorati.com had  no WTF on BP v. Whiting, Indiana.   Now it has mine.
tinovska or tina oiticica harris, my nicks there.
Anyone can write a WTF. It's not a bloggers only thing.

The most popular Google Search is simply bp v. Lake Michigan.  Nobody is talking about the families whose property tax increased tenfold, like my friend Dado's and husband, actors with second and third jobs, two children. When Dado and family made her hometown theirs and bought the area corresponding to maybe their kitchen, they thought Whiting was a well-kept secret but... fill in the blanks.  Check out the data on Whiting, IN, courtesy of our Daddy Google:
    http://www.google.com/search?source=ig&hl=en&q=
    whiting+indiana&lr=lang_en%7Clang_pt&aq=t&oq=
    Whiting+IN

It's a town of working class people, generation after generation who worked for the princes and kings of Central-Eastern Europe before working for the Man here in the USA.  Subservience till it breaks their backs. Serbs, Croatians, Greeks, the segments of peoples that met the Ellis Island demand, "Give me your masses... huddled..."
Working class people don't feel pity easily. Hey, they saw the 1929 depression, two world wars, lived frugally.  They think we are wasteful and risqué people. Cultivating an individualistic attitude becomes cool in the end.  Pay to play, dudes and dudettes, children. Even some Schadenfreude (Why are they buying a home at age 30 if I am breaking my back at 55?)

Many have sold their homes to BP gladly.  They think BP is second only to America. There's no revolution in America, not even evolution. Lots of involution.

This is bigger than politics or evironment of a one rusty Oldsmobile town.  I'll tell you about the human tragedy in Whiting, where BP pushes property taxes to increase ten fold.  Refresh this one link because Google is updating it.

Whiting, Indiana, BP - Lake Michigan 2 in a series

I have just gotten back from the street.  Let me get myself together, and in the meantime, visit my great files or my flickr.

The plan for the next few posts is:

    • History of Midwestern working class in Whiting,IN.

    • History of exploitation of ma by man. Experimental products, harmful substances.

    • Passivity, bow to the boss mentality

    • Central Europeans

    • More on humans and BP

    • How water flows

I'm planning with DADO and B12. I do hope my intellectual links join me. Heck, this is the only place where you can follow the story and loudly fight back destruction of man by man:

"This shall not pass. You shall not betray us."

My hypothesis is Lake Michigan will affect the whole Great Lakes basin.
    Hay dos novedades, señor.

One is that we shall eat s**t.

There won't be enough for all.

Flash Back to the Past - Shell and BP -Part 1

    Dado de Chicago

Dado and I met in 1985.  I was younger then than she is now. I was "old." Dado has been telling me about British Petroleum  and property taxes going stratospherically high, this company buying out everyone's land -- Whiting, IN, is a one rusted mill town, in GOP country, the state of Indiana.

I have been reading about BP in B12 Solipsism, Seth Anderson's inspirational blog, both artistically and politically, a force for me to start using Movable Type, third post using it. Yey.
Only today all the dots connected in my head.
Before meeting my Dad, my mom practiced her English at Rio's Cultura Inglesa. She dated briefly a guy who worked for Shell.  Kenneth Brennan.  He went to war, she met the American, Daddy, and the rest you read here, in my haphazard tale -- my Anarchic_Universe.
That was back in 1946, the UK dude, and 1948, when she married Daddy in Rio de Janeiro and came to America.
There was nothing wrong with exploring oil then. Or campaigning for war.  The Brazilians were happy to fight a campaign "O petróleo é nosso!" -- It's our oil! Or to fight in WW II.
In 1959, Billy Wilder shot the best comedy of all times: "Some Like It Hot."  The dream guy is Shell Junior, played by Tony Curtis. I saw a short film by Disney endorsing oil and Da Bomb at the American Embassy in Rio. Early sixties?

    Bill Maher -- The Jam

What a fool I was to suggest we watch Bill Maher's show last night. I guess we do get out of touch when going on vacation.  Hello, dear?  Iraqis aren't promoting ethnic cleasing unless you are a believer who thinks Xiites are in the direct line of a descendant of the Prophet, or you are a Sunni who believes it is your lineage that merits the name of leaders of Muslims for the same reason: ancestry related to the Prophet.
Bill Maher, the best word is fraticide. Both Xiites and Sunni Muslims are the same people.  I just wonder why this wonderfully left-wing program of Bill Maher's didn't mention genocide -- extermination en masse of (a) people(s).  For oil.  Or is the TV show really left-wing?  Let's stretch, guys and dolls do our calisthenics at the sound of an under-appreciated band: The Jam.  First post of a series.  Good day! That's Entertainment. The Jam.  First, The Start, a beautiful, dynamic look at these guys in their best 80s garb.

Good Morning, Good Morning The Draft

We, older than teenbloggers, we who think the world revolves around our navels; we're so friggin' smart; we mock the journal bloggers.  And gnaw our nails inside, wishing you could write one. Just one journal post.

You know who I'm talking about; what kind of blogs: GIFFs, animated glittery ones, my life, OMG, music, add it up in Two iconic words: MySpace. CoryKennedy.

Sometimes there is a need for a post like this.  I started blogging surrounded by people who believed in Text + photo +Text + photo.  That's the quintessential journal post. Like this one.

    I miss it.

    Example:

    Tomorrow is my Wedding Anniversary

August 25 is my wedding anniversary. My professor and close friend's birthday. Thasek. An Ohian.  Berkeley and Rio de Janeiro. Classes at the prestigous Yale across the Guanabara bay.

It's words that hurt and destroy relationships. I know I may be abstruse as in recondite ("yes, Martha.")

If you'd  try I could combine my S.L.T.S. video groove with my snotty intellectual 'tude.  A dash of a Brazilian way with words. You can get it.
I got it here after landing starving hysterically naked at U.S.C. in 1985. Now I get it.

Coffee, Blogging, BP or Lake Michigan

Coffee is highly addictive. Without coffee I'll get a headache and fatigue.

Tomorrowski, sorry. It's on stuff bloggers love to bull about. Without coffee how could I know it from Shinola ® ?
    It's about links, okay?

BP or Lake Michigan is a serious cause I must embrace. BP, or Shell in my youth, is throwing people outside of their homes, dumping chemicals in the largest drinking water supply for ...

    B12Solipsism takes it further.

Check A Grande Abobora for a travelogue of the Cinema Festival in Gramado, Rio Grande do Sul. Gramado was a very hip place to go to, but the Redeemer junta squelched my groove. They shut down the gas stations when I was still in Santa Catarina. I had to start back to work on a Monday. RS is a state whose Portuguese is very melodic, sibillant [s] , macho, borders Uruguay and Argentina. never been either. High literacy & light people rate. Bloggers galore.

The Obese, the Freaked Out, and the Beautiful

    Blossom_spring_07
I took a cab to get a friend's first grandchild a couple of my favorite baby gifts: the little duck for him to play with in the tub, I had one, and a satin blanket with cherry blossom motif. This was the first time I was out by myself since the hospitalizations I went thru in July/August.

The cabbie, Leon, left home in bermudas and a tank top to cater to my needs. My favorite cabbie passed away nearly two years ago -- now light one more cig.

Leon and I got lost in a chic-chic area in town. I asked him to stop so I could ask a Sylvan center for help. His cell. my cell. were dead.

Leon was shunned away. Dangling on my crutch, I go to the manager's desk. Both she and her secretary were new to the Westside. No, they couldn't call 411 to help me, no, they didn't have a phone book, but I spotted one.

Alas! The store wasn't listed under any of possible categories. Finally, I let them know I am a CTY SDB Johns Hopkins scholar, class of 1999. I could write a good recommendation or a bad one.

The secretary decided to "turn on the Internet." I guided her on her Google search -- practice makes perfect. They'd been on the job for two days or weeks. No finesse necessary to deal with Westside Los Angeles folks. We found I had switched the digits in my head, 901 instead of 109. ;-P

I got to the boutique for the li'l ones. Oh, they're nice, Kit and Nazarene. I mean nice and bodacious, both fluent in Valspeak.

I am obese now. I am freaked out by the lack of skills the service sector displays in catering to the disabled. Who is beautiful? Everyone can make an effort. We, the handicapped, are protected by law. In a lawless country -Ha!

    Moral: Get yourself beautiful now!

    Hunnybunnies, I'm baaack! Ad-Common-Sense?

I'm not a blogger with AdSense by Google,Inc. I will have to do something about this. I heard a guy from there in Mountain View, California, doesn't like reciprocal links or blogrolls. I tried to verify this with Google, but they are as secretive as they are nosy. When I am dead, they can provide Saint John's Medical Centre my DNA map and all else.
    Who're you gonna call?
Press zero for attendant, 6 for name , First surname then first name. If you speak Spanish or Portuguese, ask for Drummond, David, or punch it in, Wong, Nicole or Cardoso, Luiz. I could take you higher. :--P))

An Inc. that treat us bloggers like dirt and actual countries like dirt, such as Brazil, with its polluted Orkut--look at what MySpace is becoming like. My stay at Blogger last year ended because Google kept on quoting Article 230(c) when I'm a private individual, not the Imbecile or Mini-Moi. It's a long way to the New Internet.

BTW, Sarko-Fasho wants to chemically castrate people accused of sex crimes. Serious.

Google got P.O'ed when it lost a case to the news people in Belgium. The Belgian judge sentenced them to publish the sentence on Google.be, but all they know is fragments. Sentences are always awkward. Google pulled all francophone news off Google.be. Nicole Wong, a top legal eagle there, threatened to pull Google.com.br off the Internet. They wouldn't clean Orkut of pedophiles, criminals, thieves, hey, Brazil is a communal society. And she's got to have a whole Imelda Marcos collection of feet in her mouth. Now Nicole is in a higher position. Maybe she went to Charm School. I came to Typepad.com. Happy to be here.

The surfer Operator, I can tell who it was by voice recognition skills, and I am sure he should have told me his name. He said he couldn't give me his name, take a message or connect me to anybody. At 5:30 p.m. he said he was on overtime. KMA, frankly. Google works loooooong hours. I know so many names of people there, even another intern, Joe Schmoe from San Diego. He was getting info from me! Then he said Google couldn't give me a job when --play Laurie Anderson -- Born Never Asked!

    I searched Google, adsense+penalize +blogrolls+reciprocal+links+bloggers, I think.

So many bloggers depend on their AdSense. C'mon, Triumvirat of Mini-Evil Empire. Look at Bill from Msoft A.K.A. "My Vista is samo DOS". You can do better than this. Next you'll be joining forces with Scientologists, buy an island and found Googleland, leaving it off the map. However, never believe what you read on the Internet...
